When 11-year-old Riley moves to a new city, her Emotions team up to help her through the transition. Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness work together, but when Joy and Sadness get lost, they must journey through unfamiliar places to get back home.

Riley is an 11 year old girl. She is happy in her Midwest town with her hockey team and her school. But her dad's new job get's the family to San, Francisco. Riley is thrust into a new school and a new life. While her emotions, Joy,Anger,Fear,Sadness and Disgust are still getting used to the move. But as Sadness makes mistake and Joy a bit to eager to fix it the two end up out of headquarters. Desperate to get home Joy and Sadness go on a journey to get back to headquarters.
