- The original Freaky Friday Movie is my favorite! Its great to be able to watch a movie my mother watched growing up as well! I honestly can't tell you how many times I have watched this movie. I have always been a fan of classic movies Like Annie and The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday is a big one on my list! I personally like it better than the newer ones.. This movie follows Annabelle Andrews and Ellen Andrews a Daughter and Mother The Daughter; Annabelle, Doesn't get along with her mom very well, Her mom is always bossing her around, making her cut her hair, she hates it. She wants to be her own person and she can't handle her mother between school, hockey, crushes, typing class, and a water ski show she has to perform for her father's grand opening of his Oceana Marina, why should her mother be nagging her when her mom gets to stay at home all day watching TV and eating chips! We can't forget about our other main character Ellen Andrews! She's the mother of two has a busy husband and a lazy dog. Between Making breakfast, ironing, sewing, and making the house look neat she can't manage her moody teenage daughter's antics all she wants from her daughter is to just stop being such a mess and clean up her room once and awhile! Annabelle complains about her own life being so hard and her mothers easy Ellen obviously knows that isn't true and wishes she could have a break once in awhile! The Mother and Daughter make a wish to swap places just for a day.. And discover each other's life isn't so easy! I recommend this movie! It is absolutely great for all ages! Happy Watching! -Gracie
